At Laval Virtual, we launched Shariiing Workroom, our new offering developed in partnership with HTC VIVE, a recognized player in professional virtual reality.
This collaboration is based on shared values: a commitment to responsible technological solutions, embodied in the eco-responsible design of HTC headsets.
Shariiing Workroom is a turnkey immersive room designed to take immersive collaboration to the highest level. Its aim is to enable teams to prepare, share, collaborate and decide more effectively around their CAD data and 3D projects, whatever their sector of activity (industry, training, local authorities…).
Thanks to a fluid, intuitive interface accessible to all professions, this solution can be adapted to a wide range of use cases:

An approach structured around four key stages
Shariiing Workroom is based on an integrated XR platform, combining hardware and software, and structured in four simple steps:
Decide: facilitate decision-making in real time, with the option of sharing the session remotely (Zoom, Teams, Meet, etc.).
- Prepare: launch an immersive project review directly from the Shariiing screen.
- Import: easily integrate your 3D/CAD models in .gltf or .glb format, in stand-alone mode or connected to a PC for the most complex projects.
- Collaborate: work together in the same virtual environment with XR headsets connected simultaneously. Interact by pointing, guiding or adding digital post-its to the screen.
An immersive, modular and compatible solution
At the heart of this offering are one or more virtual reality headsets (notably the HTC Vive Focus Vision), equipped with the Shariiing 3D Viewer application, compatible with the leading XR headsets on the market.
Thanks to this application, several users can interact simultaneously in the same 3D digital model, promoting immersive collaborative visualization.
Participants without headsets can follow and contribute to the session via a Shariiing screen, in real time. They can :
- view XR scene with Shariiing XR,
- point to elements,
- immersive user guidance,
- or add notes.
