2. General terms of use of the Website and offered services.

The use of the site (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) implies the full and complete acceptance of the general conditions of use described below. Any provision contrary to those contained in these terms and conditions of use shall be deemed unwritten, and if any clause is declared invalid or ineffective, the validity of the remaining clauses shall not be affected. The present legal notices and terms of use may be modified or added to at any time. Users of the Website (hereinafter referred to as the “Users”) are therefore invited to consult them regularly.

Users should be able to access the Website at any time. However, Immersion may decide to interrupt access to the site due to technical maintenance. Users will be informed in advance of the dates and times of the maintenance work.

In any event, Users may not claim any damages from Immersion in the event of inaccessibility of the Webite. Immersion reserves the right to refuse access to the Webite to any User at any time in the event of non-compliance by the latter with the general conditions of use, infringement of Immersion’s rights (in particular intellectual property rights) or the rights of third parties.

The Website aims to provide information about all of Immersion’s activities.

Immersion tries to provide as accurate information as possible on the Website. However, it cannot be held responsible for any omissions, inaccuracies or deficiencies in updates, whether of its own doing or that of third parties who provide this information.

8. Applicable law and allocation of jurisdiction.

Any dispute in connection with the use of the Website is subject to French law. In the event of a dispute with a professional, the action must be brought before the competent courts within the jurisdiction of the Bordeaux Court of Appeal. In the event of litigation with a consumer, the rules of territorial and jurisdictional competence of common law will apply.
