Gain a better understanding of uses, encourage peer exchange and co-construct Shariiing’s future: this is the ambition of the brand-new Shariiing Club, launched by Immersion with a circle of volunteer users.
We asked three questions to Matthieu Lépine, Brand Ambassador, and Juliette Vauchez, Human Factor Engineer, co-hosts of Shariiing Club, a real community around the Shariiing immersive collaboration solution.
Why launch Shariiing Club, the community of users of the immersive collaboration solution?

“The initiative came from a number of users who wanted to get in touch with others, and from Immersion. For our part, we had been keen to create a Shariiing users’ club for several years, in order to gain a better understanding of needs and structure the relationship. We had to find the right time to do it, and ensure that the key success factors were in place: a large number of active users, a stable solution that evolves regularly, and a structured team,” explains Matthieu Lépine.
The Shariiing Club aims to :
- Promote the sharing of best practices and concrete uses of Shariiing
- Gather user feedbacks to define Shariiing’s future developments, and involve them in the solution’s development
- Build loyalty and support users in deploying the solution internally
- Identify “ambassadors” who are willing to support us and promote the solution
“This club is above all designed for users by users. We have set up an initial, deliberately restricted circle to co-define its contours and respond to their concrete expectations,” explains Matthieu Lépine.
What are the objectives of Shariiing Club and the benefits for solution users?
Juliette Vauchez explains the format and content: “The current format is based on quarterly online meetings, with a pre-defined agenda. These sessions, lasting a maximum of two hours, will be structured around highly popular needs:
- User testimonials, to discover usage in a variety of contexts
- An opportunity to discuss the product roadmap, giving club members a sneak preview of upcoming developments.
- UX workshops“
The creation of thematic sub-groups, for example by sector (education, industry, etc.) was raised, as was the idea of an asynchronous discussion channel to communicate between quarterly meetings.
Lastly, an annual face-to-face event is being considered: some members have already volunteered to host the Shariiing Club at their facilities.
“These on-site meetings would encourage richer, even more convivial exchanges, which are very important to us at Immersion,” insists Matthieu.
“This club is a great opportunity in two senses: for the members, who share their uses and best practices, and for us, who gather invaluable feedback in advance of future functionalities,” analyses Juliette.

How does Immersion plan to develop Shariiing Club in the coming months?

“The next meeting is scheduled for early October, after the back-to-school rush. Participants from the first circle will of course be invited, but the challenge is to offer this next meeting to all Shariiing users,” announces Matthieu Lépine.
The format, the subjects addressed, the tools for exchange… everything remains open-ended, according to the needs expressed by Club members.
“One thing is certain, given the enthusiasm of the first participants, the Shariiing Club promises to be a great place to meet new people and enjoy new experiences. And it will quickly become an indispensable tool for growing our community,” predicts Matthieu Lépine.
The objective is clear: to make Shariiing Club a lever for commitment, co-construction and dissemination of the immersive collaboration solution.
