For the second time, one of our innovations has been highlighted by the European Commission’s Innovation Radar.
Following earlier recognition for the European Tactility project, the multimodal chair developed as part of the European HEAT project has now also been featured in the Innovation Radar.
This European Commission initiative identifies innovations emerging from EU-funded research and innovation projects and spotlights those with significant potential.
The prototype developed for HEAT combines multiple sensory modalities: vibration, wind, and sound. The goal is to synchronize these sensations with what the user sees and hears in a virtual environment, thereby exploring new forms of interaction and immersive experiences.
This latest recognition acknowledges the work carried out by Immersion’s R&D teams on European projects dedicated to immersive technologies and new forms of interaction.
