Research & Development

The R&D department, composed by a team of research workers and expert engineers, ensures technology watch and produces new hardware solutions for interaction and visualization in virtual environments. These solutions enclose the iliGHT interactive table, the interactive and intuitive Cubtile for 3D objects manipulation, or navigation devices.
The team is also involved into European scale research projects on virtual reality, new multimodal interaction and visualization methods.

Immersion’s R&D also aims at bringing new innovative solutions on the market.
Every day, its activity relies on 3 core missions:
Leading and anticipating technical progress of our booming market, thanks to our highly skilled team of engineers. Each year, Immersion is actively involved in at least one European high tech research project.
Creating and developing new products and innovative solutions such as interactive tables (iliGHT project), intuitive interactive solutions (Cubtile project).
Supporting industry on complex matters such as man to machine natural interfaces or multimodal interaction and visualization applications.

Scientific publications

Immersion bets on innovation. That is why its Research and Development Departement is very involved in terms of technologic and scientific monitoring. Scientific publications in newspapers or during conferences are recurrent and Immersion is also invited for round-table or symposium to share its expertness. You will find in this section the list of these publications.
