Attached to the National Arts et Métiers School (also known as Arts et Métiers ParisTech), the ENSAM Cluny is a teaching and research center which trains general engineers. The school had very specific needs concerning a virtual immersion equipment: intended for navigate in a full-scale virtual mockup of a building, this device should enable the perception of high volumes, which is usually impossible with classic immersive systems.

The ENISE (Saint-Etienne National School of Engineering), which delivers teachings relative to the mechanical, the civil and the sensory engineering domains during 5 years after the high school diploma (about 130 graduates each year), chose Immersion to set up a an « L-shaped immersive table».
Immersive visualization solutions have become a “must do” in aeronautics. That’s why Eurocopter Donauwörth (Germany), subsidiary of EADS, chose Immersion to set up a stereoscopic Virtual Reality room.
The CEA Marcoule (Atomic Energy Commission) is a pilot site in France concerning dismantling of nuclear plants, for which Immersion conceived a Virtual Reality room.
